Dane what did you use to finish the wood with? I like the way it came out very nice.

Rifle is first stained with ferric nitrate, one additional coat of honey maple to bring a little more amber out.
About 7 coats of Chambers Oil finish.

Nicely done, Dane! I have one in walnut I just assembled, yours gives me some good ideas for decoration, especially like the hunters star in the cheek. Your carving fits the piece nicely! Best,

I think I'm the only one that doesn't own a kibler gun. Of course if he'd send me a demo model I'd consider it.

I don't either Mike. In fact I don't own any kit guns. Only kit guns I built was a TC back in the 70's, and a Tip Curtis kit for a friend who had it in the closet for 20 years.

Still haven't received a demo gun from kibler. I'm hoping for all three models so I can evaluate them.
