Interesting build, and looking forward to see more. And as a side note to Daryl, I've used the same type of saw similarly, and only known it referred to as a dovetail saw. Being brass backed, it is a "back saw" generally speaking, but specifically designed for cutting small, typical drawer dovetails, with its thin blade and fine, lightly set rip teeth. Now that I think of it, I remember old catalogs calling it a "gentleman's saw". Anyway Daryl, that is my understanding as a carpenter down here in Ohio.
