This gun was previous attributed to an Ohio maker, however , as a result of coincidence (  see the recent forum on "WGM" and another gun, a swivel posted on AntiqueGuns.com Expert forum) , it can be stated with certainty that this gun is by William G. Miller of Danville. The unadorned gun has an identical barrel signature and the swivel, with identical stock architecture and almost identical furniture to this gun has a lock sign " W. G. Miller."
