New knives!
« on: May 06, 2023, 05:15:55 AM »
Lots of new stuff from the shop. A turned horn handle with brass fittings, a full tang with bone and pewter, a turned magnolia handle with brass and pewter, and a frame handle bowie which is something I had never done before.

Good morning Mr. Hill First pictured knife, turned handle with brass trimmings. Well proportioned handle to the blade width and length. I'm thinking the handle on the Bowie would be a bit heavy for my hand. Thanks for sharing. Very nice quality looking knives. AJ.

Thank you all, I may have to make some more “twisty” handled knives, the fluting takes a lot of time. And I have a few knives on deck just haven’t made it to heat treating and handling yet. That bowie knife is actually surprisingly well balance and light it feels very quick in the hand.
Thanks,
Robert Hill
