A Brian Barker Rifle
« on: May 08, 2023, 09:25:04 PM »
A friend of mine discovered this little .40 caliber Woodbury style rifle at a gunshow outside of Portland Oregon a little over a week ago.  I was not able to attend the show and he did not get the name of the vendor who owned the rifle.  I took a long shot and emailed the gunshow promoter describing the wares on the vendors table and that I was looking for his contact number.  A couple of days went by and one morning when I checked my email there was a phone number and a name.  I called the gentlemen and explained that I was interested in the rifle.  We arranged for a time to meet up and as they say, the rest is history.  The gun was built in 2015 and upon inspection it appears to have never been fired.  I will take care of that little problem on Tuesday.

Yep, it sure surprised me to find this rifle out here.  Story is that Brian made it for the owner of a car dealership out here who never shot it.

That is one of the nicest poured nose caps I have seen. The muzzle treatment compliments it very well. Nice find.

Guns are not meant to be in safes, closets or on walls.. Their meant to be used. Glad you rescued this one David.   Brian does great work....

Have to agree.  I haven’t seen any of his work that I didn’t like.
