I know how much work goes into getting the level of finish that you achieved in those pieces.
Whether one likes that particular style or not the finished product is impressive. You have as Rich said, set a very high bar.

Just a fairly simple draw file technique that I use on all the trigger guards and buttplates that I make. Equal to 60-80 grit sandpaper I guess. Forge marks and lines are still there just disguised a bit by the draw filing.
