Rawhide covered knife sheath
« on: June 15, 2023, 04:43:27 PM »
I recently bought Don Bruton's tutorial on making rawhide covered knife sheaths and gave one a try the other day.  They're different for sure, almost having a native American feel to it, but I have to say I like the way the finished product comes out.  The rawhide I used was deer.  The inner sheath is 6-7 ounce veg tan cowhide.

That turned out great.  I have been wanting to make one myself.

Very nice! I bet it’s tough as nails too, should really last.
