Powder horn had been in a scrape or two
« on: June 22, 2023, 02:03:27 AM »
This horn had a good shape to it. But it had some cuts and marks on it from hard use being a tool for a cow, I guess. I had to use hot oil to get the base to be round.
The design you see was done to remove most all the scrapes and dings. Stopper is ebony and the base is hard wood with twisted staple. Fun project

Fine looking work.  Is that a llama planter in the background?
