Works well. Did 3 barrels with it.

Homer passed away a few years ago .. super good guy ...
Jim Klein , Homers apprentice and buddy , bought his stuff and has been selling his stuff ever since ...
I have been using Danglers Browning Solution for about 30 years ... Its the best rusting juice I have ever used ...
Liza at Log Cabin Shop sells it to who ever wants to try it .. Give her a shout ...

I've tried a few but the Homer recipe is by far the best .

In early 1958 I built a simple walnut half stock rifle using the first 58 caliber barrel Bill Large made and let it change from white to brown over a 4 year period by exposure to weather and other people handling it.It was quite a contrast when the barrel was out of its channel in
the stock.That quote from President Lincoln needs to be taught in schools today and thanks for posting it.

I have found the performance of different solutions varies depending on the material being browned.  I prefer Dangler's for iron and older plain carbon steels, but find it somewhat lacking on some modern steels.  Eventually get's the job done, but it can be a bit of a slog.
