Huntingdon and Bedford Co. PA. Similarities
« on: June 29, 2023, 01:43:14 AM »
The embellishments limits topic in gunbuilding has a link to a rifle by Benjamin J. Kough. That rifle was made in Huntingdon Co. and has a lot of similarities to a Bedford Co. rifle by George Fay that I have. The architecture is similar, as is the butt plate, trigger guard, and triggers. The patch box hinges are both hidden type, which is not common.
Does anyone know of a connection between these two gunsmiths?

As in life; it’s the journey, not the destination. How you get there matters most.
