This horn is larger with a nice butt end but a plain spout...It has what appears to be a brass chain attached

 I suspect that the chain and attachments are later additions, the chain probably just to hang it on the wall. I say that because of the nicely turned finial. Is there by any chance evidence of a second hole at the neck? There may have been a staple there at one time. Another option is it may have had an applied tip at one time. What are the dimensions? Nice horn.

 There is no evidence that there were any other attachments ever. The plug in the butt end unscrews to add powder. I agree that thechain may be to hang it and it is not very long anyway. the plug at the other end is long gone
