Some homemade East Tennesse rifles.

We rifled the barrels and forged the hardware.  They shoot good.   Thanks for looking. Actually Hershel House forged the guard and box on one of them. The white set.

Indeed swell lookin rifle guns there bro. I also liked your post of the rifling rig.
My mentor Bob W has Len Meadows' rig and still cuts a fine bar'l from time to time.He's 81.

You knocked those 2 out of the ball park.  Clean, neat and tidy.  Nothing fancy, but the architecture and classic lines stand alone and say it all.

Although this style is not “my cup of tea” but after studying the photos for a second time, the looks can really grow on you. It’s hard for me to put in words but everything about these rifles are extremely well balanced visually. It is a very simple rifle really, no fancy carving or engraving to embellish them and it is not needed, the design and especially the execution speak for themselves.
The aging of the wood and metal are very convincing and having never tried to age a gun it would appear to be much more difficult to achieve what you have done than just a new “out of the box” finish.
