Building a belt pistol

Hi all!
My first build with the small back action L&R locks part was a https://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=21700.msg206457#msg206457
Now I will build a belt pistol sort of with the parts I have , ala the pistols in MuzzleBlasts  february 2013 ;)

Barrel and sideplate inlett. The barrel is kal 40"  and 6" it was what I hade , you see here in Norway we must import from USA all such building parts but its more and more diffikult to do that(Goverment  >:()

The lock mekanism, hmm Burl Ives singin about cath the FLY but he didnt build muzzleloaders I gess ;)Runar

For the Barrel Tang bolt into the Trigger Plate, do I see that you drill the bolt hole from both bottom up and top down to meet in the middle?

Not sure why, but I like those back action locks. They are not pretty, but they check boxes off in my fool head for some reason... Figures, since  I like miquelet locks too. Maybe I am a sucker for the ugly duck. Following this build!

Runar:  I made a swivel rod for my Hawken pistol.  The bulbous end doubles as a jag for cleaning the barrel.  Just pull the rod out and flip it around so the big end goes down the barrel.  It works great.
