I have been wanting a gun specifically for Deer hunting here in Central Indiana. I have killed deer with every weapon allowed and as I am getting older, I really don't get excited hunting with modern weapons like I once did. I am wanting to get a 50 or 54 caliber gun in percussion. I like Hawken style rifles but want to stay away from mass produced guns. I saw a picture of a 3/4 stocked Hawken style rifle on this site at one time with three wedge keys and a beautiful maple stock with traditional sights. If anyone has a rifle of that matches this description or similar, could you post it for me so I can get some ideas.
