Kempton Gunmakers Fair

I just wanted to compliment the organizers of this recent event and thank all of the modern masters that so willingly shared their knowledge and experience there. As a new builder working on my 6th rifle now, the information presented was invaluable. I’ve been building from the usual reference books but the hands on demonstrations and seminars were unbelievably helpful. I know many of the presenters are also very active on this site as well and just wanted to let you guys know how much you’re appreciated. Can’t wait for next year.

You are very welcome and education is what the original gunmaker's fair was all about.  Somehow, writers, blog posters, and You Tube videographers have focused only on the vendors at the fair as if it is another CLA show.  That is very unfortunate because the original purpose was education and that is what the demos and seminars are all about. Ethan Yazel understands that is and is helping to rectify that huge misdirection.

G Belkelja, Thank you for the kind words of appreciation for this event.  I'm sure the others here who offer their time and talents are also grateful for your appreciation.  It goes without saying that an event of this magnitude takes an army of volunteers to pull off, but I would like to also thank the thousands of attendees like yourself.  Without you guys and gals it wouldn't be possible.  Looking forward to next year's fair as well.  Hope to see you all then.
