I believe I posted this horn some time ago but thought someone might enjoy it again. Period repair.

While this is not an antique it represents a common repair with leather. Horn is by Tim Crosby.

It appears that they used leather for the repair and has a certain elegance to it. Thanks for the rerun Smokenbuck!
I used rawhide and home made hide glue for my repair. still holding up!
