Kibler custom rifle.

I put a Kibler custom rifle on the blog.  www.bricestultzhisblog.blogspot.com   This came from the Front Royal show.

I looked at that for a bit and couldn't place it at first.  All that work.   Hard to imagine...  Anyways this rifle was fairly close to a carbine that Wallace had for a while.  The original had a fairly short barrel, sling swivels and a flip-up sight as I recall.  I made it for a fellow in the Navy.  It's neat to see it again.  Thanks for posting!

That is very nice. I like the finish on the rifle. It wasn't beat up to make it look like an antique. The dark areas around the carvings add contrast and depth.
Very mild patina on the metal, which could have come from actual field use. Undoubtedly a very hard piece of plain maple to get such crisp carvings.
I like the sights, would love to see another view of them. Excellent rifle.

From what you are saying here and what Brice says on the blog, it sounds like there is a third Honaker gun out there related to the Brass Barrel Gun and the long smoothrifle that is shown at the end of RCA vol II. Is that correct?
