This Don King rifle was a steal at this price. It SHOULD go for 10K or more. This is surely one of the finest swivels (if not THE finest) ever made by anyone. And its surely over 50 years old.
The auction house apparently had no idea who the maker was.

Here is another with a similar “liberty head” inlay.
This one had a lot of silver inlays.

That Larry Mrock swivel breech gun was nothing to snooze at. It’s also featured in Weil’s book. I know the lucky stiff who bought that one!
