Pecatonica Pre-Revolutionary KY stock

Have any of you gentleman (or ladies) ever used Pecatonica's Pre-revolutionary war pre-carved stock? I've been looking at it and kinda like the profile but it's hard to get a good look with the pics on their website. I've used their stocks in the past and haven't really had any complaints.

Also for anyone who has used this a pic of the finished product would be awesome!
Thank y'all.

I used the Pecatonica
Pre-Rev
stock on the second or third “build” I did a long time ago. I used their Cherry- it just had the barrel and ramrod doings cut. The lock is a Davis and the trigger was also.
I think I was about 27 years old with one library book to go on when I made this! It's so crude and naive but I love it.
Here are some pics.

You’re welcome Tommy. But now my heavy carving reminds me of Medieval furniture

If we stick at this we all come a long way from our first guns!

Here is one in walnut using that pre-carve pattern to build a “smooth rifle”. Has a Mold & Gun Shop Oct/round 20 ga barrel, with a Chamber’s Early Ketland lock, iron furniture, and a fowler guard. The stock has a slightly longer wrist compared to many patterns. (Maybe resembling the original Woodsrunner gun, or a little bit of a Mark Silver Virginia pattern). For this particular application, I thought it worked out decently, and made for a nice handling gun.

Thanks Top Jaw!
Mike you are spot on. It’s been too long since I’ve done anything in the way of building. I’m kicking around the idea of using this to get back after it.

Heavy or not. I wish this old lefthander could carve as good as that. I think we all see things as we wish because I think that carving looks @!*% good.
