NJ Englbrecht NW Trade Gun

Looking for additional information on an Illinois builder Nelson J.  Englbrecht. I just purchased this NW Trade Gun and his name is on lock. I also have a custom barreled TC Renegade with his name on barrel. In any event, this musket is nice, but the barrel markings seem, to me, incorect. Top flat is stamped PFLAZ, which is in Germany. The faux proof marks may be German as well. Did German barrels appear on period trade muskets? Thanks in advance.
