Buffalo Powder Horn
« on: February 10, 2024, 01:44:50 AM »
I finished a series of projects today that I’ve been working on since before Christmas. I’ve been putting together a complete shooting outfit for my oldest granddaughter who is an avid shooter and is just starting to hunt. It started with an old Traditions .50 percussion DeerHunter that I stripped, did a bore and crown polish, re-blued, and refinished the stock. Ordered some good quality tools from TOW and made a few more accoutrements myself. I didn’t make her shooting bag, Crazy Crow had some decent ones cheaper than I could make them. Got the Buffalo horn from Crazy Crow too. Also finished her range rod today with a hickory handle, both ends pinned and peened. She’s started shooting muzzleloaders last year and does very well.
