fusil de chasse

Thanks to all who have shared their knowledge, pictures, collections and documented resources and valued technical advice.
It got a thumbs up from my  FC arms expert.I was worried about the rear finials on the tang and lock panels being too squarish, but was reaffirmed they are proper for this type of arm :)
I am not sure i entirely like it though,A bit too shiny for my taste, but I'll get used to it.

In keeping with period works, I left 'visible' file & scraper marks.I am still not able to locate the high speed 18th. cent. buffing wheel that is common these days  ::)  Its still better finished than most originals I have handled.
Now all I need to do is shoot it :D  :D

46" o/r barrel by Colerain  , 16 ga./.66 calibre
Davis "French" flintlock
Am. walnut stock from Luckenbill
Silver front sight
weight 7lb. 1/2 oz., on par with some originals
