Double Barrel Percussion shotgun

Hi all!
This gun made by Sauer & Sohn in ca 1825-35 Barrel lenght 85cm and  needs some repair before use! Link to S&S

Looks fair, and quite a lot of use, or neglect around the nipples.

Hi all! The hoocks was peened to dead, so my offshore super TIG welder buddy Alf J build up new weld so now its nice and thight ;)

Runastav, your buddy Alf did a great job of building up those lugs... and looks like you did well with the filing to shape as well.

Are the ribs still nice and solid on he barrels?

Hi Guys! Curtis, yes the barrelribs is firm and nice and not damask. New toe/sear silver solder spring steel, and it works but its NOT a Bob Roller lock ;)

Hi guys! Its time consuming to fix old locks, new mainspring with link new screws etc nex  will be making missing safetys as on last photo

Starting making the missing safetys, it was proberly removed after missing a bird in a hunt >:(Made a template of aluminium sheet after photos!

Hi all, and thank you Curtis! The screw for brake spring is small 2,5mm! Around the skrew for the safety there is a screen protector? and was missing on one lockplate. So made this tiny part and silversolder.
