Runar, that looks to be in pretty good shape to me. The lock has some rust on it and the breech has some cap corrosion, i have seen a lot worse.
It has a beautiful stock with good checkering. Are you going to do a full restoration or just make it shootable? You will do an outstanding job as usual.

This long gun should make a beautiful antique when restored properly. I'll be following this thread to see the finished product.

Very good looking gun with delightful wood & checkering. It should clean up nicely.

That really is an interesting hammer assembly, Runar.  The gun looks great, I would be interested to see what you do with the barrel insides when the weather warms up!

Pardon my ignorance but what does the ‘KV’ mean in “KV made”?
Thanks

Pretty cool stuff!!  The lock inlet is really professional and neat. I will criticize the install of that front lock bolt!!   :D :D ;)

Gun wasn't built yesterday and everything looks tight, so I guess the screw/lock bolt is up to the task.  Keep in mind that percussions don't generally have front lock bolts.
Nice looking gun and I am intrigued by that method of attaching the hammer.
Thanks for posting.

Hi all andt thank you guys! flatsguide, KV means Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk in Norway look here https://kvf.no/
Curtis, my innside work on smoothbore is not any hocus pocus. Reamers, grinding paper etc and all mounted in a aluminium or steel rod and a good drill(Strong) ;) The front screw on lockplate is common here! The gun is a Swedish Wredes
