Pennsylvania Long Rifle - 1982
« on: July 08, 2024, 08:40:44 PM »
I have in my collection a contemporary Pennsylvania Long Rifle.  I am unclear about the maker.  It is made in Italy in 1982 and is number 256.  It reminds me of high end custom ones I remember from Dixie catalogs.  I wonder if it was made by Uberti and sold through Dixie?

What part of the rifle is marked? I don't remember anything like that from the Italians. Could it be that this is a home built gun with Italian lock or barrel?

The barrel is marked, I have not pulled the lock.  Since it is numbered on the barrel, it is unlikely to be a one off build.
