OK, ya'all and thanks for all the great advice. Seems to be functioning pretty well. I installed the trigger and it trips the lock pretty well. Believe me, I appreciate the help.
I just honed the notch a little more as well as the sear tip and that seemed to do the trick.
Like I mentioned this is a tight budget job for a guy. I really want to help him get into a reliable rifle. All he will do is hunt with this and it needs to fire. Which I am confident it will be pretty trusty.
Plain and simple but functional.
I am now having another problem which I am going to post new on the sight.
Maybe I can get a little advice on that???
