paper cartridges in a cool patchbox

I saw this on Facebook yesterday, and I thought I'd ask your guy's opinions on it.
From what I heard, it was made by Hershel House.
I really like the idea for some quick back up shots.
Have you seen anything like this before, or made one yourself?

I carried my .69 ctgs. in my parka's left pocket.
They would have been too long as they were tapered, contained 165gr. 2F and also a .682" ball.

2 or 3 might have fit longitudinally in a large rifle's box, but likely faster access to them in a coat's side pocket.
Interesting idea though  for "extra" charges of powder.

My .62 cal rifle had a elongated toe plate type patch box which held 3 paper cartridges .  This orientation gave plenty of room to accommodate the rather lengthy paper tubes .

Just saying, with a bit of practice I was able to fire an aimed shot in 8 seconds after the first. Ctgs. in the side coat pocket,  capper with leather cord in a chest pocket.

I do recognize Hershel's suggestion on powder charge ctgs. as an advantageous "move" from using a horn and measure.
However, in ctgs .54 and over a true paper ctg. with powder,  patch and ball  is much faster on in loading.
Follow the 1870's protocal of loading a musket. Its all there.

I imagine that if they are just powder charges without a ball, a 6 shot loading block would be handy with it.

Daryl, I and possibly more like the idea of carrying extra shots in the form of a paper cartridge with powder, patch, and ball contained. Could you do a tutorial on how you do it? Thanks, Jerry
