Hershel's Foundation and a new legacy rifle build -Please read!

I have no "official" connection to Hershel's Foundation https://www.woodbury-school.com/, and like most of you I believe in passing along our traditions. This spring at Knoxville I was visiting with Stoner Creek, when I heard of Hershel's passing. As a small way to pay my respects, Wayne suggested that I seek out donations for a rifle to be built to support Hershel's Foundation. Lucky for me that I have decades of negotiating experience and little fear of asking questions. The following people gladly volunteered their time and/or services to the cause, so all I had to do was ask. Thank you all for your generosity! Thanks Carl for helping to get this off the ground! Really looking forward to this . When you, Wayne and Dave presented this idea to me at the Knoxville show and had already lined up a blank and barrel I was pretty stunned to say the least. The foundation has had a difficult start in some respects and this is going to be a big help.

Dave is actually going to be doing a lot more than inletting the barrel. We have talked a bit about what direction we're taking in regard to styling and he'll be doing a bunch of the gun building.

I want to thank the same folks.as you have who kindly donated parts for our project. There are definitely some great folks in the longrifle community
