I am interested in locating a source for a quality and historically correct swivel breech action.  Any recommendations appreciated

Jim Chambers had a good one for sale at Dixon's last July.

Leonard Day makes  a swivel breech action. I've got a couple and they've held up perfectly for years and a lot of use.  One nice thing is being able to rotate the barrels without changing your grip or dropping the gun from your shoulder. They are easy to adjust if necessary, and he's been making them for about fifty years. You can reach him at 413-527-0184.

We still have a couple of the actions made by Hugh Hartz.  They are based on the William Antes action....large, but very good actions.

I bought one of Bernie Tulino's swivel breech kits.  Don't know if Bernie is still selling them or not but I am pleased with the parts and help I got from him.  Bernie sells his wares under the name "Pioneer Arms.
