slim and beautiful pistol

I saw this one in an  online auction.
There is no info to go with it, but it is one of the nicest pistols I have ever seen.
I may bid on it if it doesn't go too high.

I would classify this one as a horse pistol Justin, and it is truly in lovely condition.

I think I’m seeing wood replaced in front of the lock and in front of the cheek side butt plate extension. It is a nice looking pistol

A number of pistols like this were recovered from the 1715 Spanish Plate Fleet off of Ft. Pierce, FL during my tenure as a conservator in the Bureau of Archaeological Research's Lab.  They were all iron mounted as is this one.  One of them had been shortened and a belt hook added.  The bore size was .615 and the barrels were all 16" in length (oct/rnd), except for the one that had been shortened.
