Chris Laubach Reading rifle

It's a stunner.  Folks and game just fall down looking at it.  No need to shoot- that would be over the top.

After a lot of years of looking at a lot of 'stuff,' I still think Chris creates probably the crispest, cleanest work I've ever personally seen, and more importantly (to me) maintains a very evident respect for historical accuracy and regional style.  How he maintains a full head of hair is the real mystery...

I agree! I often think perfection is not truly achievable but then Chris builds a gun and I have to rethink that theory ! ???  Inspirational Work!

Eric, just give him some time. He'll join the crowd whether he likes it or not. ;D

Very nicely done, Chris. I hope to see this gun in person. There are a lot of subtleties going on in the carving that are very impressive. Great job,  hope to see this in Lewisburg if you can bring it.

Hi Chris, ? Are you the same fella that came up to Hill Top, (Clyde,NY) a few years back with Mike Blankenstein to shoot?

Hey Chris,

Great rifle!  Lots of super little details.  I love what you've done with the patchbox.  If my memory serves me right, (and that's a big IF) your finial is more interesting and artistic than the original that inspired it.

And I'm not even a big fan of Reading guns in general. (With exceptions!)
