Rifleman's knife

I am a sucker for a nice knife.

On the other forum there is a guy that makes knifes and I have always liked his rifleman's knife.  So, I sent him a piece of wood and this is what I am getting.

I have not gotten it yet, but looking forward to it.

Several years ago I bought a 1,000 bd ft or so of a mixed lot of rough sawn lumber.  Some of the wood had been hit hard by the powder post beetles, but not the walnut.   

The Iowa walnut was fully of highly figured wood which was not known until I planned it down and was quite happy.

I own an almost identical knife. I feel sure its made by the same hand, how do I identify one made by Tallpine?
I have long since forgotten who or where I bought the knife I just thought it was a great looking knife at a fair price.

I communicated with him through the ML forum.  I dont have his email or phone number for him.   If you dont get it from someone let me know and I can PM him to get that info.

I am still very satisfied with the knife and would not hesitate to buy another one from him.   Great to work with.

The only complaint I would have and it is not really a complaint is that the knife was not sharpened very well.  It was sharp, but the angle IMO was not good and the sharpening was coarse.   

That was not a problem for me to correct and make it what I like.  I dont know the hardness for the blade, but it is harder than I think any knife I own.   Took a little bit to get the blade to the sharpness I wanted and now it is sharp enough to "flick" pieces of paper off a sheet.

I don't know if his forge is open to the public or not but Warren is such a small town there can't be many members of public around there.
