1760's Waistcoat

I purchased this several years ago from a forum member expecting it to be too big and it is. Never worn by me, cleaned upon purchase and as good as new. Townsend's price today is about $75 plus shipping. I would call it Extra Large. As shown in the first photo it is 27 inches side to side. Second photo is 30 inches, back of neck to bottom seam. All buttons present and it has two small pockets. I think Townsend does not put pockets in them now but not sure. Light gray with dark blue inside. If it's your size you won't be disappointed.
$50 plus shipping.

Size>>>>best I can tell you is that I wear a 44 inch coat and this thing is BIG on me. Laying flat, armpit to armpit is 27 inches so I'll call it at least a 48/50 inch chest. There is no size tag on it. Nor is there any ID as to material. Townsend currently says they make them out of wool, cotton canvas or linen. I'm sure it is not wool so that leaves cotton canvas or linen. The dark lining has a different feel than the outer fabric so the lining may be cotton.
I'm not exactly a small guy at 6'2'' and 220 and it's way big on me...beyond being wearable. I wish I could tell you more.

BTW, I guess I was looking at old prices. The link above seems to have them priced at $135 for starters. At this price it's a super bargain. I'm about ready to pull the ad and list it on ebay for $100 with free shipping. That would still be a good deal.
