Flintlock Rifle
« on: November 29, 2024, 08:54:45 PM »
Hi Folks,

I unexpectedly ended up with this gun.  I had built it for a customer but he decided against buying it.
It is very similar to a gun I built several years ago.  It has a 42 inch, .50, B-weight Rice barrel.  Chambers Ketland lock. Curly maple stock with 13 ¾ length of pull.  It is lightly antiqued and weighs about 8 ½ pounds.
Price is $4200.00 and that includes shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Let me know if you have any questions.

EC121, that's a hoot.  I was wondering if someone here might have the brother.  Small world.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I got an email asking why the buyer didn't want it.  There is nothing wrong with the gun, but it ended up heavier than he was comfortable with and he was not fond of the color.  I've since rubbed it down some and did the light antique on it, so it is slightly different.

I always give a 7 day inspection period with your money back if not happy.

Good to see you are still building rifles Ken.

For those of you interested in doing business with Ken he is a great craftsman and you can trust doing business with him. I once owned one of his beautiful rifles and like a fool sold or traded it to someone a number of years ago.

Thanks you 2.  Dennis, I am still building a few per year.

I retire from teaching this coming June, so I am looking forward to being able to go to shows and having more time for building.  I've never been to the CLA show due to it always being around the time that school starts, so I will be there for sure.
