Finished Chambers Fowler
« on: December 25, 2024, 10:59:09 PM »
Here's some pics of the Fowler I just finished building for a friend. This is my second finished build. I took a break from a build from a blank under the guidance of Jeff Talbert in order to do this Chambers kit in my shop. This was a great opportunity to practice the skills I have learned and improve on others especially wood carving and finishing before getting back to the other project.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Very nice gun. A fowler is on my short list. After I learn how to build the first one, of course :).

Had to enlarge that picture to see if it's a smile. Maybe? LOL
Nice gun!! Anyone would be proud to own it.
THEY shoot well with patched round balls.
Taylor uses 85 or 90gr. 2F in his and our buddy Norm uses 85gr. 3F in his Penn. Fowler.

They do shoot well. My Penn Fowler I built before this one shoots patched RB very well with 85 grains of 3f.
