Zinc powder flasks

I’ve never bought a zinc flask before because every time I see one. It has a lot of condition issues. Today I picked up two in an antique shop because they looked better than usual. 
   Usually the seams are broken open, but these were tight.

I'm usually one of the ones that don't get to see some of these pictures but I can see this one.

Congratulations for these good looking powder flasks.

These zinc powder flasks were  cheaper versions of metal flasks made of copper or brass. I never have seen one with a makers marking.

I got some of them (mostly french) and  I use Ovatrol or linseed oil for conservation.
