Looking forward to your new kits. Hawken looks great and so does the pistol. You've mentioned about studying originals in several posts and videos. I started doing such. Looking on the web and have ordered a couple books.

I watched it on YouTube, that French Fowler is something else. If you make another Fowler I hope it has a standing breach and wedges. Would be awesome for hunting. A large bore would be good too but I’m skewed due to being an avid waterfowl hunter. I’m stoked for the pistol.

I really think the Brown Bess will be a huge success.
Glad to see Jim taking that on.

Thanks guys.  I'm excited about a Bess too.  I think it will be a fun and successful project.  I'm also daydreaming about ways to make a really good 17th century offering.  Someday...
