I especially like the steel furniture, Butt plates are not that difficult to make, but they are usually seen as flat with a simple bend on the tang, yours is fully developed and very cool. It's also nice to see a hand made trigger guard that is something other than a typical southern gaurd (and a sling swivel!) Ash is becoming a rare wood and I have made oars and table legs & such from ash, but I have never carved the wood, your carving on an open grain is incredible.CSW
