Southern style 45 rifle with Douglas XX barrel

Slim little 45 with a 34x7/8 Douglas XX bbl... As you can see from the pics the stock has a couple of issues. There is what appears to be a chipped piece above the lock that honestly is extra wood and the very obvious crack thru the forend for about 4.5-5 in. Is outfitted with a set of Lyman target sites.  Single set trigger and I'm not sure about the lock. I haven't been  able to find alot of net info available. So I don't know if the name on the lock is the maker/builder, owner or lock maker. I have not shot this rifle and I can't confirm it but from what I can see it doesn't appear to have ever been fired. Would like to sell to make room for other projects. Considering the parts and pieces,  I'd like $550.
