Finishing JK Hawken Trigger Assembly
« on: January 14, 2026, 08:55:59 PM »
I have completed the assembly of my JK Hawken without a hitch. The precise fit of all the parts is amazing! I have some questions though:

How is the front of the bow held to the trigger plate? If I take it apart I am concerned about disturbing/loosening of the bow on the trigger plate or causing "idiot scratchs" on reassembly after finishing. But I prefer not to finish file/polish and  blacken as an assembly. How did any JK Hawken builders handle the finishing of this assembly?

Thank you

If you take the screw out of the guard back, you can just twist the guard to unscrew it from the plate.  It has a threaded stud at the front that fits to the plate.  You can then take the set trigger assembly apart by removing the mainspring and knocking out the pins.  Hope this makes sense.  Let us know if you have any questions about this.

Thank!
