Brooks enterprise

 Can anyone here tell me anything about guns with the locks marked"Brooks Enterprise unlimited" Like who made them and when? Any info would be great! Thanks

Scott......I am assuming that you might have a lock so marked?  Is it a fairly new lock or an old lock?  Can you bring it along to Lewisburg?    Thanks,.......Don

Actually Don, A couple of our friends Jimmy Correl and Ron Rodhe saw two guns so marked on the lock at a gun show. They were older contemporary pieces I'm told. Ronny called wanting any info I might have but I never heard of them... thought I'd ask here.

Scott......the reason I brought this up was the fact that I got to know a guy by the name of Dave Brooks who used to shoot out at Friendship.   He was always building things and was very innovative with locks and set triggers.   Dave also
owned land that had a very good stream running thru it.   He put in a dam and hydroelectric plant to make power for his
endeavors.....called it  the "Wonalancet Electric Co."  (spelling ?).   I also recall some pictures he had of a Gatling gun that
he built.   He was a great guy, unfortunately, he passed away far too early for his age..............Don

Don the one was an over under shotgun with mule ears very nicely done great curly maple stock. The other was a target rifle 45 cal. half stock also great wood and nicely done. The owners son was trying to sell them as he had passed away. By the way the barrel had 6 round grooves.
