You might want to round off the edges a bit.... ;)

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Roger, hard part's done so send it to me with all the parts and I'll finish it for you. You can then pick it up next time you're here or I make it to Dixon's again.

It may be a log gun.

Roger missed the 'over' when they were talking about 'over the log shoots'.

Now, gents, this is an historic moment. I believe this is the first time Roger has posted pictures. Congrats , Roger!

Nice inlet, by the way.

Wow!!!!!   I love the brass touch hole liner.   Are you bringing it to Lewisburg?  Using it at Boyertown on Sunday?

Just kidding, a few swipes with the sanding block and you'll have a fine looking gun.

See you Friday,
Bill

I'd take him up on that offer before he changes his mind.  He didn't say nothin' about chargin' you, and you could get a trip up north to boot...
Best regards,
Dale

Must be a hand-match fired hand-gonne since there ain't no lock in it.

It's coming along very well Roger, and the rest of them think so too, though they aren't sayin' so.  Good lock inlet - sear tail hole squared, no extra wood removed.  A little more has to come off under the hook end of the mainspring, I see.  Scrapings.  thanks for showing us.

Holy Canolies and here I thought I was doing decent! ::) ;D

First off, I recall someone (I'm thinkin it's the young guy that likes highballs) suggesting more work in progress photos, so far be it from me to not cooperate!!!
They do show the nitty gritty!   Oh yeah, I couldn't post photos if my life depended on it...That is one reason to have a daughter in law... Sure more photos oncoming - $#*! I'm not proud.  I can screw up more than 10 other guys.

Rounded edges - there will be plenty more, on down the road..

Chunk gun now there's a novel idea.   What I do in fact need is something I can hold up offhand  (Chiropractic profession is making $ off of me for weeks now! Ol Arthur and his itis found a home in my left shoulder. :'(
