Found the Book!

Just returned from a quick trip to Kings Mountain NMP where I found a copy of The Gunsmith of Grenville County. They have two copies left, in case anyone is interested. Wow, what a book. I have a lot of reading to do.

i have a copy and find it to be invaluable. very well done. between it and a couple other books ( recreating the american longrifle and recreating the pennsylvania longrifle), i can find out how to do just about anything i need to know. but what i learn on this ALR site is things like different options for finish and alternative methods and a lot about tool building. so keep on here and pay attention, i learn something about every time i come in.   mark
