RichPierce, and Stonewall Creek.  By way of info. Troy's hand is slowly coming along, and he's adapting to writing right handed.  Rich can make custom sized flints, if you had a special, or finicky lock, that needs a special size.

I've used Rich Pierce's flints with success.  I have one rifle that doesn't seem to do quite as well with Rich's as with a black English flint - for it, the one's I've gotten from Track and Log Cabin throw good sparks.

saw an ad over on the CLA site for someone selling original flints out of the nepalese cleanout.  he had some black brandon brit stuff and some french "amber" as well.

I use and like Rich Pierce flints.  They're probably the very best deal you'll ever find in flints.  I also have TF flints from TOTW and they are very nicely shaped and flattened but cost more.

no  he'll just get behind and i'll have to wait  till june to  con or i mean trade him out of few. they are the best . takes little to keep them sharp. works best in my chambers late ketland. and deluxe siler. not always true- you get what you pay for. have used more costly flints but didn't spark any better      rick

Appreciate the kind words, gentlemen.  I am 3 weeks behind on flints right now.  Holiday and work travel, long hours at work and frozen ground have all combined to foil my efforts at collecting good rock and turning it into gunflints at my usual pace.  I will take orders if you want to get in line but am also happy if you wait a few weeks to contact me about your needs.  if you're short I recommend Stonewall Creek Outfitters for English flints as theirs are as nice as any I have ever seen, and probably way better than was ever commonly available in the flintlock period.

best regards,
