alright already
Here are three shots. Its really very simple but I've worked on it some today and I think it'll do great.
In a week or two I'll cast two sak-crete weights for the wheel at the base, one for each half with a handle of some sort to lift them out. It works fine right now with my carvinggtool box setting on it. But I'm not doing any heavy chiseling right now mostly scraping and shaving. The weight will probably be needed when start the next one and am carving on the butt to fit the buttplate.
I apologize for the living room, I'm single, and cat doesn't care either
addendum: when I get the woodworkers clamp later today I think I'll bore 3 sets of holes in the face edge and put threaded inserts for machine screws in them. That way I can easily shift the clamp to either end or a center position as needed. I'll also put a few on each end so I can mount or move an extended work rest to support the unclamped end of the stock. Using the threaded inserts and machine screws will be a lot better in the long run than screwing in and out with wood screws.
Once it get it a little more complete I'll add another photo or two
