That is the favorite style rifle. love the way the buttstock is bigger than lets say a carolina or kilber style rifle.. Is the mounts custom made or can they be bought?

All mounts were forged by Ron. The "spear point" motif is found on all parts.

To be serious. The squirrels around here are ratty looking and wouldn't make much of a meal. Rabbits aren't bad though. Mostly i'm a big game hunter. We have lots of that here. Too bad too about the squirrels. A 36 cal sounds pleasant to shoot in my old age.

Made by Keith Vance of West Liberty Ky., Ed Rayl .32 cal. barrel, Chambers gun maker lock,triggers off an original gun, Freddie Harrison wood. Squirrel rifle for sure. She’s $#*! on them little vermen. Enjoy!!!

I'm not sure, grouch, but I think the base is brass with a steel blade.
