Here's my current one.  It's a .36 Ohio rifle built from a Homer Dangler kit. It was my first attempt at building a longrifle.  It's now my son's favorite squirrel gun.  I'm building myself a .32 SMR to replace it.

Nice looking rifle and cool pic of your son and his squirrels.
Flintlock is the only truly reliable source of ignition in a muzzle loader.

Here's a iron mounted 36 cal North Carolina gun I'm finishing up. 44" green mountain swamped barrel chambers pistol lock and Davis triggers.

Yours will be up soon , Kermit. This one put me behind a bit, this is the second try. The first one I was done with and while it was setting outside to speed the finish drying the forestock developed several cracks, so I scraped it and made a new stock. Wade, I may be slow , but I'm not 3 years slow. :)

A big, 2hp Griz dust collector I keep in an adjacent room because it sounds like a B-52 taking off when it is running.

I posted this rifle when I received it from Mike but here it is again being its intended purpose from the git go is squirrel taking. Mike Brooks 40 cal. It likes 40 gr of fffg pushing a 380 ball wrapped in a deer tallow lubed 020 pillow tick patch. She will get er done.
