Time to bring this thread back up! Squirrel season is still rolling along here in Alabama. Here's my Kibler SMR in .36 that I just finished. I've never done anything like this before, but it turned out alright and shoots awesome from what I can tell so far. Jim's kits are a great resource for anybody that's somewhat handy and wants a great gun for their money. I'm over the moon with mine!My only reservation is I think I wish I would have got it in .32 caliber that is a beautiful rifle! I may get a 36 next. everything I here about the Kibler kits is good. they look like most of the work is done, just a little fitting and finishing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Mike, Bob, those are some beautiful rifles. If you two keep posting pictures of them I'm going to have to send some money to Jim Kibler and get myself a .36 SMR kit.I'm up to my eyeballs in projects (house remodel) right now... But I'll take a browbeating from the Mrs. for a chance to build one similar to yalls'.Mike
