I just bought one of these on ebay (or at least it is thought to be one) unused for a pretty low price.  This is a 15/16th .40 X 35" barrel & is threaded for breech.  Anyone know who made them & what quality they are?

I've got one and it's stamped Weberton Rifle Works on the bottom flat.
It's a chunk gun barrel  1-1/8"x 56" in .50 cal.

I can't remember the guy's name but I think he used to set up across from the gunsmith shop at Friendship, though I could have him confused with someone else.

It is Howard Kelly. He does set up at Friendship, across the ditch next to the restrooms in an RV. Pleasent guy to talk to and a selection of barrels in different configurations. I've got a flier here somewhere if you want his contact info.

I think Howard was related to Bill Large and the barrels were made using Bill's old equipment............Don

Don,
        Howard is a gentle nice guy, but would probably hit you if you were to accuse him of being related to Bill Large.   I mentioned Bill Large to him once and got a five minute not positive history of his feelings about Bill.   Howard makes a lot of chunk gun barrels etc.

horse and stopped by Bill, looked down at the boy and handed him a silver dollar, and said
