Ok ! My mind is sufficiently blown !

Question !  In one of the picture/diagrams it says  "Cis - Yew - Taxusboom"
This seems to indicate that Yew wood is being used for the stock ! Is this the case ?

Yew is more of a soft wood ..... THE wood for an  English Longbow, but for a gun stock ... a bit surprising
